Big T's Restaurant & Takeaway is a traditional fish and chip shop. The fish is cooked fresh to order. There is an extensive menu apart from fish, chips, patties they do a range of sausage rolls, meat pies, etc. Apart from the traditional patties, which are very good, they do a cheese and onion Patty, which is excellent. There is a nice cafe for dining in and an outside seating area. The staff are very friendly. It is a very good fish and chip shop.

Best fish and chips and best service anywhere by a huge mile. I first came across the takeaway doing my HGV training as its a regular spot for truckers to stop at, for this reason (truckers don't stop at poor places). The lad that served us (20th Sept at around 5pm) was fantastic and went above and beyond even giving my kids some colouring in to do whilst waiting for the incredible fish and chips (the gravy is amazing and seems homemade) and provided wonderful, kind service. He is an absolute credit to Big T's I would recommend some recognition for him. Excellent value for money here. Also the place is absolutely spotlessly clean! Thank you for a lovely visit.

Nipped in to big t's today for some grub after work. I went for the bacon cheese burger meal (£5.80) i was expecting a deep fried burger and some chips wich would be fine but was pleasantly surprised to get an amazing burger with all the trimmings gherkin's fresh salad and burger sauce and a nice bit of crispy bacon! Staff where friendly and happy taking pride in there work unusual these days in the food bizz. Also you can see your food being prepared in the takeaway and the chef making the burger was clearly taking pride in there craft. Genuinely friendly staff and great food will definitely be back for more! 10/10

I have found my new favourite chippy takeaway. It's clean, staff are friendly and food is good. I came in on Good Friday expecting chaos however there were loads of women working together and providing a great service. The prices are not the cheapest but the food is amazing, fresh fish everytime and the curry is delicious. I'd rather pay that little bit more for decent food from a decent friendly business.
